DREAM TITLE: Wolf Attack and Held Hostage
I’m in my vacation house with my mother, my brother, a strange old lady and little girl and were being kept hostage by a pack of people that occasionally shift into wolfs and threaten us. I am able to help my brother and the little girl out but stay with my mom and the old lady. I felt scared in the beginning but when my brother and the little girl were safe I became really mad.
WHAT THIS DREAM MEANS
It's a story of how someone should be or wants to be in a place of rest (vacation home), but instead has to work and protect others from those who would hurt.
The expression Pack of Wolves is often used to portray people who want something from others and use aggressive, threatening ways to get it. The dream suggests you hoped all could be well for you and loved ones. Instead, there's always trouble, challenges and circumstances that need your help. You do rise to the occasion and help, but now and then get tired of it and become upset that you have to jump in.
BOTTOM LINE:
You'd like to be in a position where things are always peaceful and those around you don't always need rescuing. Unfortunately, you are needed, that is your role. Be glad you're needed. In a work situation it's called "job security". In a home and family situation, it's called life. Be grateful for it.
Sometimes the child in us wants a time and place with no challenges. No such luck.
