DREAM TITLE: Good and Evil Twins
I dreamt I went to the hospital looking normal, and gave birth to identical, blue-eyed, twin boys. I started nursing them, one on each breast and felt that not only were they both super strong, but one was totally evil. However, I just held them and nursed them. After all they were mine, good and bad.
WHAT THIS DREAM MEANS
It's a story of accepting what comes from oneself (the twins), even if there are sharp contrasts and contradictions. I think it's a dream about learning or practicing to accept yourself as you are. When a dream contains images of extremes such as these twins, author Anne Faraday pointed out correctly that it depicts the dreamer often grappling with extremes in themselves.
For example, perhaps may go through swings of feeling on track versus feeling very guilty about something, a saint versus sinner type of thing. Such extremes in a dream invite you to find a balance point, to accept and see that you are neither saint nor sinner, just a flawed human being like all of us, grappling for the best we can.
